There are many ways in which you can help save Lucy! The Save Lucy Committee, Inc. is a completely self-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rely solely on sales in our Gift Shop and Online Store, Guided Tours through Lucy the Elephant, and donations for our existence. Lucy the Elephant is also now available to be reserved for private dinners, fundraisers, and other special events!
Want to be more “hands on” in the ongoing task of preserving Lucy for future generations? Become a volunteer!! The Save Lucy Committee is continually looking for friendly and energetic volunteers to help work alongside our Tour Guides and Staff in the Gift Shop and assist with various day-to-day operations at Lucy the Elephant.
So many people have a deep connection with Lucy the Elephant. Whether you grew up in Margate or are just an elephant lover, one thing is for sure…. everybody loves Lucy! So much so, that they even honor Lucy in their wills, leaving a permanent testament to their support of our National Historic Landmark.
