How much does it cost to have a private event at Lucy the Elephant?

The cost to have a private event at Lucy the Elephant varies based on a lot of factors such as:  the number of people attending, the time and length of the event, the amount of space required, rentals, etc….       The starting rates to reserve the site for this type of private event is as follows:

• In-Season Rate (Memorial Day through Labor Day):  $3,500 tax-deductible “Site-Use” donation
• Out-of-Season Rate:   $3,000 tax-deductible “Site-Use” donation

Please note that the “Site-Use” Donation is only to reserve the site.  All food and beverage items, as well as any additional rental items will be priced à la carte on top of your tax-deductible donation.  Please contact our Special Events Coordinator for more information about having your next private event at Lucy!

Do you still offer private dinners on Lucy’s howdah?

Yes,… Howdah Dinners are still available for private parties up to 8 people.  The starting rate for this type of private event is a $1,200 tax-deductible “Site-Use” donation.  All food and beverage items, as well as any additional rental items will be priced à la carte on top of the “Site-Use” donation.  Please contact our Special Events Coordinator for more information about having your next private dinner party on top of Lucy!

How many people can you accommodate for a private event?

For a private event, we can accommodate up to 45 people inside of Lucy the Elephant; however, we can also easily accommodate 200 or more people on the grounds surrounding Lucy the Elephant.  We highly recommend renting tents for any events that will take place outside on the grounds should there be inclement weather.  Please note that rentals will incur an additional charge on top of the “Site-Use” donation.
