Original Post: ALL ABOARD!!! Take a nostalgic ride on The Camden and Atlantic Railroad as we celebrate Lucy the Elephant turning 137 years old on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10AM – 8PM. For this year’s birthday party, we are proud to offer a trackless Train Ride and the return of our 9-Hole Miniature Golf Course. Come take a ride on the Lucy Express and join us for a day filled with carnival games, activities, food, and much more!
Please note that there will be no on-site parking on this date. FREE PARKING and SHUTTLE SERVICE for this event is at the Margate Municipal Building (formerly the Union Avenue School Playground) located at 9001 Winchester Avenue in Margate, NJ. The shuttle will be running all day long and departs every 15 minutes for Lucy the Elephant.

How do you participate in the activities for this event?
Outside activities and food will use a ticket-based system similar to a carnival. Tickets can be purchased outside under the main tent for $1 each or BUY MORE and SAVE MORE — $10 for 11 tickets, or $20 for 25 tickets.
Can I use tickets for everything at Lucy the Elephant?
Tickets can be used for most outside activities and food on the day of Lucy’s Birthday Party; however, there are some exceptions. Tickets cannot be used toward the purchase of Lucy’s Collectible Birthday T-Shirt or Lucy’s 50/50 Cash Raffle. Admission Tickets for the Guided Tour through Lucy the Elephant can be purchased in the Gift Shop.
Can I park at Lucy the Elephant for this event?
No, there will be no on-site parking for the day of this event. What time is the birthday cake?
We will be singing “Happy Birthday” to Lucy and cutting the birthday cake at 3:00pm. Enjoy a free piece of cake while supplies last.
